Bootstrap 4 for Django

Write Django as usual, and let django-bootstrap4 make template output into Bootstrap 4 code.

Requirements

  • Python 2.7, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5 or 3.6
  • Django >= 1.8

Installation

  1. Download or clone this repo.
  2. Copy the bootstrap4 folder to the main file structure of your project.
  1. Add to INSTALLED_APPS in your settings.py:

    'bootstrap4',

  2. In your templates, load the bootstrap4 library and use the bootstrap_* tags:

This app will soon require Django 1.8+, python 2.7+. Thanks for understanding.

Example template

{% load bootstrap4 %}

{# Display a form #}

<form action="/url/to/submit/" method="post" class="form">
    {% csrf_token %}
    {% bootstrap_form form %}
    {% buttons %}
        <button type="submit" class="btn btn-primary">
            {% bootstrap_icon "star" %} Submit
        </button>
    {% endbuttons %}
</form>
