Enable private gists

Enable users to select private gists (perhaps only for paying members)

Would be cool if we could code directly on the gridcontrol website.

But can't you code directly on github? I'm not against the idea but I don't know if it's worth the effort

It's just easier/more convenient. Compare:

gist -> select gist -> edit file -> save -> gridcontrol -> update -> select gist

vs

gridcontrol -> edit bot -> save
