Changes since v2.5:

• Instead of a context menu to choose a tool, use the current tool to draw with the background color.

• New misc. setting: show brush size around mouse pointer

• Added translation, rotation and scaling of selections

• Added undo/redo to layer rename, alpha, blend mode, visibility, delete, merge

• Use zlib to compress image data for each layer, resulting in massively smaller project files, esp. with many rather empty layers.

• Brushes:

  • moved brush configuration into stored Brushes window
  • added current brush preview to status bar
  • removed Brush tool (use Freehand instead)
  • switch brushes in stored Brushes window with cursor keys

• Blur tool:

  • added "Use current brush" option

• Eraser Tool:

  • added "Use current brush" option
  • added "Pressure" slider to control opacity of erasure

• Fill tool (gradient):

  • a more intuitive usage
  • show line from start to end point

• Freehand tool:

  • added "Use current brush" option
  • added "Pressure" slider to control opacity

• Straight line tool:

  • added "Use current brush" option
  • add "Pressure" slider for opacity control

• Transparency tool:

  • added "Use current brush" option
  • use slider instead of alpha from current color
  • changed "Speed" to "Pressure"
  • made "Pressure" a percentage of the way to the chosen value

• Wave add-on:

  • Add X and Y spinners for position
