File 'article.cls' no found on Mac

What I did (steps to reproduce)

I did barely nothing, installed MacTex, WebStorm, TeXiFy, created a tex file from the minimal example :

\documentclass{article}
\begin{document}
    
\end{document}

From the "Problems" tab, WebStorm tells me File 'article.cls' not found and I don't understand why. I've read the issue #1815 and the issue linked into it and I got nothing to help fixing the problem.

It's because Apple has designed their system in such a way that WebStorm cannot access your PATH, and thus it cannot run pdflatex (or any other latex tool), unless you specify the path to pdflatex manually in the run configuration.

Did you specify the compiler path in your configuration?
I tried to make use of that path (#1785 (comment)) to fix this issue, but maybe you have a setup in which that's not working.

As an additional workaround, we could simply guess some paths where you have MacTeX installed, what does which kpsewhich return for you?

Yup, I did specify the compiler path in my configuration.
The command which kpsewhich returns Library/TeX/texbin/kpsewhich

I also had a problem where opening a project from the toolbox was impossible because of an error "WebStorm is not installed", but opening WebStorm from that same toolbox was ok. I just tried to reinstall Webstorm, I can now open projects from toolbox... and I don't have the error anymore in the IDE about the article.cls not found.

I just don't understand what happened. But now it works, unfortunately I don't have a real solution to give to other people... Except trying to reinstall Webstorm (not even uninstall it before, just reinstalled it).
