Forward and Inverse Sync not working on Skim #2191
-
PyCharm 2019.3.4 Professional Edition Skim is setup as the pdf viewer with the command: "open -s Skim" Expected "Shift + command + click" to do inverse search on Skim, but it does not do anything. No Exception thrown! |

I'm sorry, but there is no TeXiFy developer with a Mac, and no one I know with a Mac, and there is no cheap way we can get one, so we can't help you. |

I was able to fix the inverse sync issue by removing "open -a" at the beginning of the launcher script for pycharm. The problem is that currently if the script is generated by the toolbox app it cannot pass the "--line" argument to the pycharm executable. |

Just adding my experience here in case it helps someone. I had CLI tool idea --line 10 /fullpath/src/main.tex So reinstalling it fixed that, and inverse linking started working. Forward linking still had issues, as well the generation of the bibliography. |

Turns out, clearing the built directory fixed both issues.
