Forward and Inverse Sync not working on Skim

PyCharm 2019.3.4 Professional Edition
macOS 10.15.3
Texify IDEA 0.6.8

Skim is setup as the pdf viewer with the command: "open -s Skim"
Paycharm shell script is set.
On Skim, "reload automatically", "Custom", "pycharm1", "--line %line "%file"" options on Sync tab.
"pycharm1" command can open tex files from terminal.

Expected "Shift + command + click" to do inverse search on Skim, but it does not do anything.
Expected "Shift + Command + Alt + ." to do forward search on Pycharm, but it does not do anything

No Exception thrown!

I'm sorry, but there is no TeXiFy developer with a Mac, and no one I know with a Mac, and there is no cheap way we can get one, so we can't help you.

I was able to fix the inverse sync issue by removing "open -a" at the beginning of the launcher script for pycharm. The problem is that currently if the script is generated by the toolbox app it cannot pass the "--line" argument to the pycharm executable.
I have not found a solution for the forward sync problem yet.

Just adding my experience here in case it helps someone.

I had CLI tool idea already in place, but it wasn't working.
Not even directly from terminal:

idea --line 10 /fullpath/src/main.tex

So reinstalling it fixed that, and inverse linking started working.

Forward linking still had issues, as well the generation of the bibliography.
Turns out, clearing the built directory fixed both issues.
