Side-by-side view

It would be awesome if there was a way to view the tex and the PDF side-by-side. Something similar to overleaf.

I saw that but i dont see how to view it side by side. Maybe I am missing something?

My computer has the possibility to view two applications side by side, I hope your computer can do that as well!

I know I can open the PDF in a separate editor window, but thats not really the same thing. For example, I cant click on an area in the PDF and have it take me to the area in the latex and vice-versa.

Actually you can if you use a proper PDF viewer, especially one of those in the list I linked to. It is called "inverse search" or "backwards search" usually.

You could use the internal pdf viewer in a split editor window, it should work out of the box if you have synctex installed. A new version should be released soon.
