I had the bad idea of installing MikTek, because it's the one suggested. I had a working installation under PhpStorm with Tex Live (MacTex). I remove it, and I installed MikTek. Since then there is no way for me to make it work again. I removed MikTek, reinstalled Tex Live, but it doesn't work. It is installed under:
And this is my configuration: The plugin doesn't show me the message in the figure below: So I had to understand how to configure it manually. I tried everything. I restarted, I reinstalled the plugin multiple times, deleted the file with the configuration of the plugin manually, etc. Nothing works. I always get a permission error: Permissions are correct:
I am in the wheel group, so I am able to execute any command in the directory where the executables are. I tried, it works. I don't know what the hell should I do. I find the installation procedure quite confusing, especially when it doesn't work. I also don't know why MikTex is the default option in the installation instructions. |

I found the solution myself. You need to provide the full path of the pdflatex file. The documentation of this plugin has to be reviewed, it's all wrong. I am going to open an issue on the installation. |
