sFish (The Sample and Field data collection Information System for the Hanner Lab) is a mobile application for iPadOS and android developed to facilitate data collection of environmental DNA (eDNA) within the field. sFish aims to be compatible with industry and research standards for eDNA sample collection including those used by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO).
For iPadOS, sFish is currently available through the Apple testflight program here. For Android based devices, an installable APK file can downloaded from the repository releases.
Alternatively the app may be compiled and installed manually from this repository.
