    The Metis has been slated for removal for months now, pending a
    replacement. A replacement has not been forthcoming, and, in the
    meanwhile, the Metis continues to cause problems. If nothing else,
    removing it should hopefully encourage a prompt replacement.

    a doctor! Perhaps you had a scraped knee? Some problem with your vision,
    even? Or maybe, just *maybe*, you stumbled into a nuclear dump site in
    some waste planet and you *foolishly* walked inside said site without a
    hazmat suit on?

    assist you JUST for this most-convenient occasion!

    This is my first ship ever and I've done it with an extreme amount of
    love, not just for this server, but also because I fucking love SolGov
    and they desperately need more ships that aren't just the Chronicle.
    Hopefully having an RP-oriented medical ship will encourage others to
    read up on SolGov lore and have fun times there!

    Removes Syndie headsets from Syndie job outfits that are not officers or
    Twinkleshine crew, bringing the Syndie headset distribution in line with
    other factions. Does not touch the maps themselves, so if spare headsets
    need to be removed (and they should) this will have to be done
    separately.
    
    ## Why It's Good For The Game
    
    Faction radio channels are intended to function as something of a
    faction-exclusive wideband, not a common channel for every member of the
    faction to flood with minutiae. This is the same reason ships with
    pre-built comms do not relay the common channel across the sector- Comms
    spam sucks.

    I've touched up the central hallway's decals, they always bothered me
    but at the time of the Aegis' creation, I wasn't as well versed with map
    making as I am now. They're small tweaks that look better to me. The
    smart fridge was removed and turned into a board, originally you could
    access the smart fridge from outside of the ship, which wasn't intended.
    Added some new posters. Compressed the number of red lockers down and
    cleaned up the main hallway. I gave the psychologist a dart gun because
    honestly, it sounded really funny.

    Also, there are more seeds to make food with. There were like only two
    food seeds and like five flowers before.

    Kepori and Vox versions are available. Long-term patients now spawn with
    the white gown and slippers. The previous clothes they spawned with were
    always intended to be replaced.
    
    Hopefully, this PR also fixes long-term patients spawning with borked
    ID's.

    Fixing stuff, making stuff look better, and adding new RP opportunities
    with clothes are good.

    Brings the Riggs up to par, primarily by adding a holofield to the cargo
    bay. Additionally, some minor aesthetic and QoL updates were made.

    - Tweaks wallmount positions for aesthetics
    - Replaces the 10mm surplus rifle with a Winchester

    ships spawn in (non-exclusive, so don't get too comfortable) hangars at
    the outpost sized to them, connected to a new "main level" of the
    outpost via an elevator. new hangars are generated as necessary as ships
    spawn / dock. let me know if radio works across hangars or not

  2. Various map expansions, remaps and fixes (shiptest-ss13#1960)

    ## About The Pull Request
    Makes various edits and tweaks to ruins ranging from fixing issues to
    expansions and reworks.
    Fixes the bathroom tiling in Lab4071 and the flooring in
    onlyaspoonfull.dmm.
    Expands clericden.dmm into a full sized chapel with a few more enemies.
    Similarly expands cryocontainment.dmm into an entire laboratory branch
    with a Secure Technology vault (Contains no R&D) still attached.
    Removed a map template entry for a file that didn't exist, which should
    prevent jungleplanets from sometimes spawning without ruins.
    
    Also changes the max integrity of fluff papers to 10 instead of the
    default 300, so they don't take forever to break.

    The Hound has proven itself to be a favorite of soloshippers and players
    with little to no interest in roleplay, and can typically be found
    derelict and riddled with asteroid holes after a new player blew out the
    cargo bay. Even when this doesn't happen, it effectively plays like a
    tiny Colossus with very little roleplay potential and too much
    firepower. It's not very interesting and doesn't encourage the kind of
    gameplay we want.

    Brings the Toy C-20r smg in line with all of the foam weapons by giving
    it the same firing sound as the rest. Removes the ability for it to be
    suppressed for consistency as well. Changes "colorfull" in the rainbow

    Load up the Halftrack. Test out my foam guns and not have my eardrums
    hurt from an overly loud "Toy" C-20r. Hug my favorite moth plushie buddy

    bedsheets. this is because i am a killjoy
    bedsheet/random no longer spawns double bedsheets. thank you to tmt for
    helping me figure this one out.
    most instances of bedsheet/random have been swapped out for dorms
    because they were most likely unintended
    dorms bedsheets now have a double bedsheet version.

    Wow! Back so soon?
    
    Yeah so turns out, I messed up. I admit it. The Paracelsus-class was
    shipped too soon and I realized I made plenty of mistakes. Thankfully
    however, rectifying them was very achievable!
    
    This PR changes the layout of the Paracelsus by quite a significant
    margin, adding an extended cargo bay with a small cargo office on it, as
    well as changing the blast doors to be double cycling holofields!

    enough. Thus I am nerfing their chances to fire and adding a cooldown.
    Shields are exempt from the cooldown because they're shields.

    Does what it says on the tin- adds access restrictions and finer door
    controls to the Aegis's bridge. The Aegis still has a larger rework on
    the horizon when SUNS content is finished, but for now this is just a
    quick fix to a recurring issue.
    
    ## Why It's Good For The Game
    
    Bridges, as a rule, should be access restricted to officer roles on any
    ship of sufficient size so it doesn't just turn into another assistant
    den. The Aegis is no exception.

    both outposts have been passed for mistakes, such as wiring & pipe
    errors.
    
    - the indie outpost no longer runs out of power immediately (the smes
    didn't have a terminal).
    - a one-way maintenance door has been added to the indie outpost
    disposal room, so players aren't sealed forever.
    - doors to inaccessible areas in the indie outpost are now sealed with
    doors + walls, rather than re-iconned walls.

    - the ice asteroid outpost's map has been expanded, to avoid windows to
    void.
    - some doors have been replaced, to better fit anywalls.
    - freezer room floor tiles have been replaced with showroom floors.
    
    outpost & hangar files now have unique names + their faction.
    all wallmounts + doors are now fixed & use proper dirs.
    the nt asteroid outpost now has a 56x40 hangar.
    hangar tiles now use planetary atmos, to prevent depressurization via
    ship.
    the floor under elevator doors on all hangars is now catwalk.

    bugfixes are good. no more floating extinguishers & unbreathable
    elevators.

    the source tile if either happen. Also tries to slow down movement a
    little, but there's only so much I can do.

    Holopads are probably one of the most important communication methods in
    the game, since it's one of the few reliable inter-ship ones.

    Hey, this expands some clothing Kepori can wear.
    
    From this humble PR Kepori gain uniquely sprited shoes, oversuits, and
    gloves for Combat boots, Jackboots, the basic sneakers, workboots, and
    explorer boots, Inteq Battlecoat and inteq winter coats, nitriles and
    combat gloves.
    
    Adds some copy pasta paths and relating code for anyone else wanting to
    add clothing for them in the future.
    
    Spin around of the battlecoat, combat boots, and winter coat for
    Keppies.

    Stops ships from accelerating if the last person stops looking at a
    particular helm console. Yes, this means there will be some interference
    if there's multiple helms (NOT including viewscreens, I accounted for
    those) but I don't care, better safe than sorry.
    
    Doesn't stop de-celeration burns or start de-celeration, just stops

    After nine years in development we hope it was worth the wait
    
    I ported this specifically for the signals I'll need for world icons.
    However, it had a lot of other useful stuff, so I ended up just grabbing
    (almost) the entire pr.
    I tried to grab as few of the superfluous code rewrites as possible to
    make reviewing a bit easier, but I couldn't help grab stuff like the APC
    icon code rewrite(the original code was a war crime).

    - ports the wrapper proc `update_appearance` for icons, descs, and

    - ports a bunch of signal hooks useful for changing names, descriptions,
    and icons. I needed these for world_icons which is where this wild ride
    all started
    
    - ports some `base_icon_state` implementation. Stuff like spear code
    makes slightly less duplicates(and more sense) now which is nice.
    We could definitely implement it more I think but that's a future me
    problem
    
    - 500 files of immersive vsc-mass-editing action to implement
    `update_appearance()`(sorry in advance, but not as sorry as I was when
    manually copy-pasting the custom ones for like 3 straight days)

    there's more reason to seek out specialized ammo types or higher-caliber

    boasts a much lower depressurize-ability compared to the original
    scav-class. yippee

    ## About The Pull Request
    Adds the abandoned Nanotrasen Genetics Research Facility, a facility on
    lavaland dedicated to genetic and slime extract related experiments away
    from the prying eyes of the general public. My hope for this ruin is to
    act as a Nanotrasen counterpart to the Syndicate bioweapons facility on
    lavaland, allowing players from either faction to loot either facility.
    
    The facility is equipped with a Password Locked Door separating the
    reception and subject area from the storage and research area, which can
    only be unlocked with a code found somewhere within the ruin (hint
    hint).
    
    Threats:
    7x Hungry Grey Slimes (3 of which are in locked rooms)
    2x Powered Turrets (On stun by default, mainly to act as a stealth
    puzzle for players to dodge past)
    
    Items of Value: 
    3x Green Slime Extract
    1x Dark Blue Slime Extract
    1x Healing Extract
    1x Invigorating Extract
    4x Cryoxadone Beakers
    2x Cryogenic Cell setup (If they even bother to deconstruct it and take
    it)
    1x Medical Sleeper
    5x RTG Generator
    3x Fashionable Ties
    1120 Credits
    As well as whatever various plushies, junk and syringes you manage to
    loot from the storage and research area.

    ## Why It's Good For The Game
    I was asked to make new, unique lavaland ruins due to most of them being
    kind of shit and soon to be deprecated. This will be the first of many
    new ruins for lavaland.
    This is also the first non-deprecated ruin to use the password locked
    door, something I've been wanting to use.

    The old ranger is just about a year old. This totally remaps this ship

    This is good for the game because it replaces a year old ship with

    Adds the Vaquero-class Light Frigate, a small (7 players) Inteq
    generalist to fill the frankly terrible shoes the Hound left behind.
    While the Vaquero has all the features expected of an Inteq ship
    (meeting room, armory, large cargo bay, boombox), it actually has
    average engineering gear in combination with a full set of surgical
    tools and table, making it much more well-rounded than the other Inteq
    ships, even if it pays for this by only being moderately armed and
    having a small footprint and crew capacity.
    
    The Vaquero has a crew capacity of 7:
    - one Vanguard
    - one Master-At-Arms to run the armory and function as second-in-command
    - one Enforcer
    - one Artificer
    - one Corpsman
    - two Recruits
    
    ## Why It's Good For The Game
    
    A generalist rounds out the Inteq catalogue nicely, and helps balance
    out the fact that all of the Inteq specialists are positively enormous.
