There seems to be some confusion about the distinction between build/hpc_install_or_update.sh and batch/hpc_init.sh. See:

Describe the solution you'd like

The commands from the Running On A HPC With Slurm to be copy and pasted into the build/hpc_install_or_update.sh to help guide users.
