This is the continuation of the work on issue #609. To evaluate the compatibility of Medley Common Lisp with ANSI Common Lisp I'm testing on Medley the code of Peter Seibel's book Practical Common Lisp.
The chapters after 23 describe an MP3 ID3 tag parser (chapter 24 and 25), server-side web programming (chapter 26), an MP3 database (chapter 27), a shoutcast server (chapter 28), and an MP3 browser (chapter 29).
The code of these chapters heavily depends on the pathname library of chapter 15 (discussed in #1593) I had to skip, on the AllegroServe HTTP server which relies on network functionality Medley doesn't provide in a directly accessible form, or on each other. Adapting the code to run on Medley would require substantial work, so I'm skipping these chapters for the time being.
