Velocity Converter (VC)

Velocity Converter is a script written in C# for VEGAS Pro 14+. It analyzes velocity envelopes on the selected events, and converts them into keyframes with the proper values and interpolation. You can select from various supported time remapping plugins such as BCC+ ReTimer ML, BCC Optical Flow, S_Retime, and Twixtor.

Usage

1. Download the latest update from the releases page.
2. Run the provided .exe file.
3. Open VEGAS Pro and select a video event with velocity envelopes already on
4. While the event(s) are selected > Tools > Scripting > 1 - Nifer > Velocity Converter
5. Choose what time remapping plugin from the VC window to convert to
6. Additionally, if you want to apply your own preset for the time remapping plugins; simply create a preset of the effect named "Convert". VC will automatically apply the preset.

ToolBar

To assign VC into your VEGAS Pro Toolbar:

1. Go into Options > Customize Toolbar
2. Look for "Velocity Converter" on the left side
3. While VC is selected, press "Add ->" in the middle of the window.

Keyboard Shortcut

To assign VC into your VEGAS Pro Keyboard Shortcuts:

1. Go into Options > Customize Keyboard
2. Search for "Velocity Converter" in the search bar
3. Select Velocity Converter, add your keyboard shortcut at the bottom
