Checked with the latest development build (copy version output from About dialog)
I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists
Steps to reproduce the behaviour
In an entry editor field, press the (forward) delete key or alternatively Fn-Backspace.
In the field's text, two characters are deleted, when only one character should be deleted.
Example: 1234567890 becomes 34567890 when the cursor is positioned at the beginning of the string.
This is the case for all entry editor fields as well as for the biblatex source code editor pane.
