Override files

Hey, I'm trying to render elements in a JSON file, the thing is that when I try to deploy the webpage again, since the JSON file is not included in the build directory, It says there is nothing to commit and I kind of understand why it says that, anyway, the file contents are not being rendered and because of that, now I'm asking if there's a way to completely override the files I deployed earlier, I've tried multiple configurations of the action but nothing seems to work. Can I have some help with this please?
