prerequisite:

open terminal and type command: brew install wget STEP1: INSTALL HOMEBREW

$ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"

STEP2: INSTALL NODE.JS $brew install node

STEP3: INSTALL APPIUM $npm install -g appium $npm install wd $npm install -g appium-doctor

==> AFTER IT YOU CAN START APPIUM VIA COMMAND: $appium
