Chart Editor ‐ What Everything Does
Whether or not the metronome should be enabled.
When reaching the bottom, the game won't shift to the next section.
BPM of the metronome.
Starting offset of the metronome.
Changes whether or not they should play.
Shows the waveform of each track's audio (if it isn't null.)
You know how if you try leaving or clearing notes/events, it asks you if you're sure about it? Turning this on disables those warnings.
Allows you to chart in the way that you chart songs in Stepmania/ArrowVortex.
Changes the speed of the song. (Doesn't affect it in gameplay!)
Makes mouse scrolling snap to whatever beat snap you have.
Shows those cool people on the bottom left that play the chart directly in the editor.
Toggles whether or not the grid should be shown. (gets rid of memory leak)
Enables the Ctrl+Z function, and doing anything saves an undo of the chart as it is so you can undo changes you didn't want. (Stops at 50,000 notes)
Changes the volume of each sound's audio.
Mutes each respective track.
Plays a hitsound when notes are "hit" in the editor.
Composer of the song. (shows on the left when a song starts)
Change the image of the credits bar path that's used.
Ditto, but for the credit icon.
Changes the name of the game window while playing the song.
Everything else works exactly as it does for Psych 0.7/1.0
A special event that triggers if you press 7 in a song. Here is what each event does:
None - Nothing. Game Over - Instakills you. Go to Song - Sends you to another song. Close Game - Self explanatory. Play Video - Also self-explanatory.
Left/Right Section to Notetype - Sets the notetype of all notes in the left/right side of the current section to your current notetype.
Toggles an easier spamcharting mode.
The amount of spam (in steps) to be added.
The amount of notes inbetween you want to add. (2 = 1/2 notes, 4 = 1/4 notes, etc.)
Multiplier for stretching the notes in a section.
Stretches/Shrinks the notes in the current section by the stretch amount.
The amount of steps the notes should be shifted when. (Also used for duplicating notes)
Shifts all notes by the amount of steps you specified. (this includes decimal numbers)
The amount of times all notes should be duplicated.
Duplicates all notes and shifts them by the Step Amount, according to the amount of duplicates you specified.
Changes the amount of beats that 1 section has. Can be used for time signatures.
Changes the current BPM of the song to the amount specified below.
Type a number into the stepper above the button, press it, and you'll automatically be sent to that section! (3 sends you to section 3, 10 = Section 10 etc.)
Copies all notes from the current section to the next section, repeatedly according to the amount specified above.
Reverses the direction of all notes in a section.
Copies all notes on the left/right side to the other side.
Like the Clear button, but only applied on the left/right side.
Top left number specifies how far back the starting section is. (Putting 1 copies from the previous section, 6 = (current section - 6) etc.)
Top right number specifies how many sections the copying should go on for. (If TL = 8 and TR = 2 and your current section is 16, it'll copy section 8 to section 16, and section 9 to section 17)
Bottom-left number specifies how many times the function should loop for.
(Secret: Holding CTRL while pressing it will swap whichever side the note is on when it's copied.)
Clears all notes in every section between the left amount and the right amount. (The notes in the last section may not be deleted)
(Secret: Holding CTRL will only remove the opponent's notes, while holding SHIFT will only remove BF's notes!)
