🤔 About

INTEC Insider Hub is a centralized newsplace app featuring news broadcasting of events all-around the INTEC campus! This project aims to solve the community problem: the events and news around INTEC are scattered in multiple different groups, thus making it hard to keep informed of activities and announcements. This app solves the problem by gathering all clubs and organizations into one place where they can share the latest happenings to the students so that they are aware of occurences around the campus.

🛠️ Project Installation

System Requirements

• Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11
• Code Editor: Visual Studio Code (VS Code)
• Terminal: Git Bash (Powershell and CMD are not supported!)

ᯓ🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️ How to Run

1. Ensure all System Requirements have been met.
2. If you don't have VS Code, download using the link here.
3. If you don't have Git Bash, download using the link here.
4. Once VS Code and Git Bash is setup, open VS Code.
5. On the top left of VS Code, select Terminal and click New Terminal.
6. In the terminal section, press the ˅ button (located beside the + button) and select Git Bash.
7. Copy and paste this command cd "path/to/USCS22-INTEC-Insider" into the terminal. Replace the path/to/ with the path to this project folder.
8. Paste the command ./run.sh into the terminal to run the app.

Troubleshooting

Please contact Khilfi's number in case the app doesn't run and have errors.
