To contribute, head to github. When contributing to this repository, please first discuss the change you wish to make via issue, email, or any other method with the owners of this repository before making a change.
Please note we have a code of conduct, please follow it in all your interactions with the project.
1 - Ensure any install or build dependencies are removed before the end of the layer when doing a build.
2 - Each Pull Request should have its own issue created and referenced in every commit. All branches
should start from master
branch. Naming convention for the issue is [(THEME)] (TITLE)
and Branch Naming
should be (TYPE)/(PROJECT_ID)-(ISSUE_NUMBER)-(TITLE)
. As an example, if you want to add
something related with Redux, Issue name can be [Redux] Add Reducer
, and Branch should be
(saying the issue number is 42) feature/RGCA-42-add-reducer
. The github pull request title should be
named Resolve RGCA #42 "[Redux] Add Reducer"
and should contain Resolve RGCA #42
in the description,
for github to properly link the pull request and the issue.
THEME: 1-2 Words defining the theme of the contribution. You can look at other contributions to use similar ones.
TITLE: Short statement defining the contribution.
TYPE: feature
, bugfix
, documentation
are the main three themes. You can use your own if you find these
not suitable.
PROJECT_ID: RGCA
.
ISSUE_NUMBER: Issue number delivered by github.
TITLE: Title in lowercase, space replaced with -
.
3 - Commit message convention is:
COMMIT_TITLE
COMMIT_BODY
ISSUE_REFERENCE
COMMIT_TITLE: 50 characters max, no end punctuation.
COMMIT_BODY: optional, 72 characters per line. If no body, should be replaced by ISSUE_REFERENCE
.
ISSUE_REFERENCE: RGCA #42
would be the issue reference of the example above.
4 - Pull Requests will be merged on develop by repository managers depending on incoming releases and versions.
