Babelmesh requires Apache, MySQL, Javascript and PHP. (Known working versions are Apache 2.4.52, MySQL 8 and PHP 8.) It also requires an NLM/NCBI API key. Learn how to get one here:
https://ncbiinsights.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2017/11/02/new-api-keys-for-the-e-utilities/
Initialize the database by unzipping the database dump file and then loading it:
- unzip crosslan.zip (this multipart zip file was zipped using WinZip)
- mysql -u ADMIN -p < crosslan.sql
Customize the source code for your site in files include/conf.php and include/dbconnect.php, and in files anywhere else with undefined variable "ncbi_key".
