This game system for Foundry Virtual Tabletop provides character sheets and rule automation for Knave Second Edition by Ben Milton and Questing Beast LLC.

- In your Foundry UI, select "Install System" under "Game Systems".

Knave Second Edition for FoundryVTT provides sheets for player characters, monster, recruits (hireling, mercenaries, and experts), and items (weapons, armor, light sources, spellbooks, and general equipment). The system provides many automations, such as the following example of "chaining" items together: by adding a spellbook to a weapon, then rolling that weapon's attack, you can automatically output both the weapon's roll and spell effect simultaneously:
The game system provides many other similar automations:
- Ability Checks
- Attack, Damage, and Direct Damage
- Checks adding Level, half Level, or zero
- Monster and Recruit Morale checks, with automatic success or failure
- Weapons break on a natural 1, or after using a power attack
- Monsters roll number appearing in both wilderness and dungeons
- Maneuvers trigger on rolls >= 21
- Characters gain slots with CON
- Characters lose slots from Wounds, starting with the first slot
- Stacking items (coins, ammo) calculate total slot encumberance
- Items in wounded/overencumbered slots cannot be used
- Item order can be rearranged
- Items can be labeled as "Relics"
- Relics can be active or inactive, and add to total Active Blessings
- Characters gain maximum Active Blessings with CHA
- Spellbooks can only be cast once per rest
- Characters can only cast a number of spells based on INT
- Only certain recruits can cast spells
- Light sources can be customized and activated from a character's inventory
- Characters can perform a standard or "safe haven" rest to restore Wounds
Knave Second Edition for FoundryVTT is still in a beta stage, and is likely to have many missing features, bugs, and edge cases. Report any issues (preferably with F12 > Inspect Editor
