Stack-Overflow-Developers-2023-Survey-EDA

Project Overview

This project involves conducting an exploratory data analysis (EDA) on the Stack Overflow Developer Survey 2023 dataset. For 13 years, Stack OverFlow has served as a platform for developer. Analysts, IT leaders, reporters, and other developers to stay up to date with the evolving developer experience, technologies that are rising or falling in favor, and to understand where tech might be going next. 2023 survey dived deep into how developers perceive and utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning in their workflows.

Problem Statement

The goal is to perform a robust EDA, explore every parameter possible and communicate insights via appropriate visuals. Educate us on the choice of visual and document your entire findings.

Tools Utilized

Python libraries including Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.

Findings/Conclusion

The Stack Overflow 2023 Developers Survey provides a comprehensive snapshot of the developer landscape. Respondents, spanning various age groups, found the survey manageable overall. The USA led in participation, followed by Germany. Professional developers dominated, with coding experience nearly universal. Interestingly, passion for development seemed to wane with age. Employment was widespread, especially full-time roles. Education levels were high, with most developers having tertiary degrees. Full-Stack Developers and Back-End Developers were prominent, although they're not the highest in compensation and pay. AI tools garnered positive sentiment, projected to enhance workflow efficiency. Notably, Github Copilot and ChatGPT emerged as preferred tools for 2024. As the industry evolves, these findings offer valuable insights for developers and organizations alike.
