I have nodejs in termux based setup on mobile. However it means that i cannot easily share links from browser into wiki. With quinoid I see following workflow.

  • browse internet
  • share link with quinoid app
  • quinoid app would create a tiddler with a shared link

Unfortunately it doesn't look like quinoid supports remote wikis via http API. Are the any plans to add it?

That's an interesting idea. Which version of Quinoid have your tried? The latest release apks of Quinoid hand off links to your real web browser. I don't intend to turn Quinoid into a web browser. It would be impossible to do all the things that are expected of modern browsers. But it's possible to share text between apps in Android. So I can imagine highlighting a link or other text from within an app, and then sharing it with Quinoid. In this way, Quinoid would work as a kind of text capture tool. If the shared text was a url, then it would also be capturing the link. I'll have to think about that and see if the community has other ideas.
