Due to controversial opinions over Christmas Breakdown, we decided to revisit it and push a patch update to fix the problems and bring some new optimization fixes

Changelog

  • Updated the profiles documentation to be more up to date as of Christmas Breakdown
  • Added a admin command that removes all active bosses at once, does not work on Boxing
  • Timer_SendDeath is now type Handle and not type Event
  • ComputePath and ComputePathFromPosToPos are now unused
  • Blocked/invalid nav areas performance increased by 45%
  • The Powerjack now gives back the extra 5% sprint speed (Originally 2.5%)
  • All class speeds have been reverted before Christmas Breakdown (Scout from 300 to 310, Sniper + Engineer + Pyro from 290 to 300, Spy + Medic from 295 to 305, Demoman from 275 to 285, Soldier from 270 to 280, and Heavy from 270 to 275)
  • Increased the Demoman's sprint duration from 20% to 25%
  • The Back Scratcher got its 25% damage increase buff back (Originally 13%)
  • Hopefully optimized the pathing AI
  • Fixed a bug where bosses on RAID or endless chasing mode despawn and respawn somewhere else immediately (The exception of getting stuck and removing themselves)
  • Increased Mad Milk and Concheror damage recovery from 35% to 47.5% (To average out the Concheror's 35% heal on hit and the Mad Milk's 60% heal on hit)
  • If the map is a Boxing, RAID, Proxy Survival, or bosses chase endlessly, proxies hopefully have more consistent spawns versus not spawning often on some occasions

Merry Smissmas/Christmas to all brought to you by Slendyclaws

Slendyclaws wasn't keen on making a big update for this year's Christmas, but has brought amazing fixes we all needed for 2 years

Changelog

  • Fixed stacking memory leaks when players die and from unclosed Handles (Can now be around 120 on map start and end up being between 160 to 190 during all maps versus around 2000 after 6 maps causing server lag)
  • Fixed a bug where projectile kills can sometime cause scripting errors due to invalid entities
  • Reduced the Powerjack's multiply sprint speed from 5% to 2.5%
  • Reduced the Demoman's increased sprint duration from 30% to 20%
  • All classes got a finalized and minor speed nerf (This may get reverted depending on how severe this nerf is)
  • Reduced the Back Scratcher's damage from 25% to 13%
  • Anger values returned (Speed function and similar is now Speed = Original Speed + ((Original Speed * Difficulty Multiplier)/15) + (Anger Value * Difficulty Multiplier))
  • Cleaned up the code for finding random players when bosses endlessly chase
  • Hyper Snatcher and Cosmic Snatcher are now split up
  • Fixed a bug where players can regain all health from hitting a Boxing boss if they have the Concheror effect or the Boxing boss is mad milked
  • Iceballs are now considered a attack projectile
  • Added 2 untested features, jumpscare_on_scare and jumpscare_no_sight
  • Added more Russian translations (Thx Blueberryy)
  • Added a few more Finnish translations from Blad3z

Changelog

  • Added boss laser attacks
  • Bosses with less than 30K health no longer drop money
  • All CVar ran on type Handle now run on type ConVar
  • Added a boss self heal mechanic for Boxing (KF2 Patriarch uses this)
  • Trying to force proxies into the game won't do anything
  • Some keyvalues are now type KeyValues rather than type Handle
  • Changed a majority of CloseHandle() functions to delete functions
  • Added a new entity for Boxing maps, sf2_logic_escape_hyper
  • Reworked the teleport target system slightly
  • Reworked the proxy spawn system to be compatible with endless chasing AI (This way forcing proxies won't be such a pain)
  • Replaced Absolute Snatcher with Cosmic Snatcher
  • Added boss difficulty names
  • Added an experimental CVar, sf2_ignore_red_player_death_team_switch (Keeps players on RED even after death)
  • Boxing bosses become much faster if theres 1 player left
  • Special rounds now occur in Boxing maps

  • Players who take damage from an unknown source that isn't a trigger while in a kart won't take the damage
  • Fixed a bug where the backstabs only take 30% of the player's current health and not original health
  • Fixed a bug where outline owners can see their own outline as a proxy or in Wall Hax (Was far noticeable for cl_first_person_uses_world_model)
  • You can now see proxies with Wall Hax
  • Added boss difficulty light colors
  • Boss lights can now be attached by attachments if enabled
  • Added boss spawn and despawn particle effects
  • Added boss difficulty models (Doesn't work so well in real time if changing the difficulty)
  • Added the random Advanced Damage effects
  • Added boss difficulty attack damages
  • Hopefully fixed a bug where bosses could still attack while running under rare circumstances
  • Hyper Snatcher in Boxing Ring now becomes Hyper Argonite Giant

  • Changed the cvar sf2_version to sf2modified_version (To find Modified servers easier)
  • Fixed a bug where Special Round Vote picked up Single Player, Glitched Pages, and itself
  • Removed Noise Maker restriction (No longer needed)

  • Re-added CTFPlayer::WantsLagCompensationOnEntity (This should fix the inconsistencies on PvP hit detection)
  • Upon removing a boss with music themes, it'll attempt to refresh the theme for double checking reasons
  • Re-implemented difficulty copies
  • Fixed a bug where cookies weren't pre-cached properly
  • Fixed a bug where you could still vote for the difficulty in Hyper Snatcher in long intro maps

  • Updated the syntax from Sourcemod 1.9 to Sourcemod 1.10 (Now requires Sourcemod 1.10 and above to compile)
  • Disabled Film Grain by default
  • Fixed the Escape Plan glitchly walk movement

  • Difficulty copies have been removed for the time being

  • The Escape Plan's walk speed is now affected by health
  • Once players reach 7 points or less of sprint, they slow down to avoid the sprint jump exploit without stopping players from jumping
  • The Coffee special round only gives the default recharge rate when using the double sprint regain method
  • Fixed a bug where the footstep attack cooldown wasn't set properly
  • In Boxing, the priority values aren't affected by Medic's or regenerate items
