The method does not exist / is not available.

This method was enabled very recently and will be available in a future release of MetaMask Flask!

If you are comfortable with it you can build the MetaMask extension develop branch yourself to try it out. Otherwise, you'll have to wait a week or two for the next release of Flask to go out.
