Usability analysis of Rotten Tomatoes website

A project for the Web Information Management course - MSc Computer Science - University of Padova

In a world where the information is available from many sources on the web, with the number of websites which increases day by day, it is important to provide to users the information in the simplest possible way. Users prefer easy and intuitive things and is for this reason that study the usability of websites is so important.

The aim of this document is to study the usability of a real website to understand if it respects the usability standard. The analysed website is Rotten Tomatoes, available on the following link which captures the website in the period on which this analysis has been conducted: https://web.archive.org/web/20240204232933/https://www.rottentomatoes.com/.

In this study just the desktop version has been considered.
