SVM fix necessary?

Is SVM fix still necessary? Using the latest release (QR code) I don’t see a menu option to apply the SVM fix but it is mentioned in a lot of the online tutorials. Thanks

edit: it's obviously possible the SVM fix is there but I just didn't see it; so if I could get pointed in the right direction, that would help. thanks
