Cant get Android Auto to work

I just purchased a 2015 VW Passat with Discovery Pro media. I had the impression, that this car had Android Auto as standard, but I only had Mirrorlink option.
After reading about M.I.B, I updated my media unit from MHI2_ER_VWG11_S0289 (MU0199) -> MHI2_ER_VWG11_P3301 (MU0814) -> MHI2_ER_VWG11_K3342 (MU1427).
After updating, I installed M.I.B. -> installed AIO patch -> activated Android Auto -> activated USB port 2.

After all this, I now have App-Connect in menu with Android Auto and Carplay.
But if I connect my phone through USB, nothing happens. Android-Auto wont start.
I only have one USB port, which is in armrest. When I connect my phone, the media system recognizes the phone and I can open images through media system, but AA wont work.
If I check Fec codes, I can see android auto - Valid under "Installed codes", but the "Supported code" menu is empty. Is this right?

I would really appreciate help to get the Android Auto running.
