Update October 13th, 2018:

Windows package (bin-windows-x64.zip) updated. Those who downloaded before this date should download the package again. The updated packaged fixed an issue where the daemon would consume a entire CPU core even when idle. Other platforms (Linux and MAC) where unaffected.

  • This release contains Komodo delayed-Proof-of-Work (DPoW) consensus-level changes, and is a mandatory update for all full nodes! More details about how DPoW works can be found here

  • These changes protect against mining attacks, specifically selfish mining is harder with these changes and double spend attacks via 51%/consensus attacks can be prevented by making sure a block has been notarized to KMD/BTC before some action is taken.

  • This new data can be seen in 3 new fields in getinfo output: notarized, notarizedtxid and notarizedhash

  • New RPCs cal_MoM and height_MoM related to DPoW

  • New RPC importpubkey backported from BTC 0.15

  • Various bugfixes and documentation improvements up to and including Zcash 1.0.15 upstream

  • GUI wallet release containing 2.0.0 can be found here

  • When using txindex=0 (the default), the Hush wallet uses watchonly addresses of KMD notaries. Please be sure your software understands these and GUI wallets render these addresses correctly to users.
