#44 New PR from Jerome Barr. More variables for JCSDA. From Cheryl, “should we have section for host-model specific names?” From Grant, “Add attribute to variables, for which models use this variable” From Matt, “Also possible that host-specific names could be used across models (e.g. dust bin #1 => GOCART aerosol dust bin #1)” From Cheryl, “we need to stop kicking the can on addressing this” From Ligia, “Emphasize that this pertains to host-model specific naming conventions” We will discuss this at the CCPP visioning workshop.
On CCPP Visioning Workshop. Agenda coming out this week.
From Ligia. Recent discussion, high-level, on collaboration between NOAA/NCAR with respect to coupling. There was a broader wrap-up meeting last Friday afternoon. Not much feedback/take-aways wrt CCPP. Need to keep nurturing this relationship.
