App allows users to submit records to private activities when membership is still pending

If an Activity is private, and a user has requested to join the Activity, they are added to the member list as "pending" - awaiting approval from an Activity admin.
The app, however, shows this Activity in the list of Activities and allows the user to select it and submit records to it, even when their membership has not yet been approved. Records submitted in this way will then appear in the list of records under that activity.
