Stock Search responsive site is built as a part of academic work at USC. Users can search for, bookmark and trade dummy shares on this platform. It is hosted on Azure Cloud and can be accessed here at this link.
To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.
- The three folders frontend, backend and deploy contain the respective code. Frontend uses Angular, BootStrap 4, HTML and CSS, while backend is built with NodeJS and ExpressJS. Deploy folder contains the bundled version which is deplyed on Azure Cloud. (This could also be generated with Angular commands).
- Download and Install NodeJS from this link.
- Download, install and get started with Angular here
- Setup Azure Cloud credentials to deploy. This can help.
- Clone this project using the following command.
git clone https://github.com/Narasimhag/stock-search-resp
- Deploy folder has code that can readily be deployed.
- Frontend has Angular code which can be tweaked.
- Backend hosts server using NodeJS and Express.
