WIP, but feedback and contributions are welcome along the way.

Fixes NativePHP/laravel#390

Tasks being done:

Update packages to minor versions
Remove Vue.js (it doesn't seem to be used anywhere)
WIP

One change per commit, hopefully, so we can revert if necessary.
