Wow!! Thanks a bunch for this program, looking forward to future releases that can handle .ass files.

I'm using SubtitleEdit at the moment but would be excellent if there was a way to handle and convert files in bulk...

Glad it's useful for you 🙂. I need to take a look at this again as I wrote it when I first started with Python. Like me it's ugly but works 🤣

.ass support should not be a big deal, I also need to remove bad {\an8} entries from .srt/.vtt files converted from .ass
