Redirecting post/get/update/delete requests to index.php

I have a API built with PHP on localhost/api

However simply using the regular config doesnt work, when I request localhost/api/login, it will look for a folder /archive named "login" instead of passing it as rest api request. How do I redirect the requests after the /api url ?

Tried to do this, but I receive a 500 error
