NG Extension Manager

NG Extension Manager is a secure browser extension that is now open-source as of September 24, 2024. The source code is available on GitHub, developed by Nitra Global, a small but dedicated team focused on enhancing your browsing experience.

• Local Operation

  • All operations are performed locally on your computer.
  • No external servers involved—ensuring complete privacy and no data collection.

• Link Protection

  • Links must be confirmed by the user before opening to prevent navigation to unknown websites.
  • HTTPS scanning for added security.

• Modern User Interface (UI)

  • Clean and intuitive design, ensuring a user-friendly experience.
  • Regular updates and refinements based on user feedback.

• Extension Details Page

  • View comprehensive information about each extension:
    • Name
    • Version
    • Description
    • Homepage URL
    • Options Page URL
    • Status (Enabled/Disabled)
  • Action buttons to Activate/Deactivate or Uninstall the extension.

• Permissions Overview

  • Categorized permissions displayed in an accordion format for easy navigation.

• Notes Section

  • Store personal notes, opinions, or passwords (saved in Local Storage).
  • Notes can be deleted at any time.

🔒 Security

• No Data Collection: We do not track your usage or collect any personal data.
• Offline Support: Currently in development; you may see a warning regarding this feature.

📦 Installation

To install the NG Extension Manager, follow these steps:

1. Download the latest version from the Releases page.
2. Add the extension to your browser following the instructions for your specific browser.
