I have some Bash-related questions in Obsidian that I synchronize to Anki. Everything works well, except the dollar sign that indicates a variable in Bash. The dollar sign is dropped in Anki, while the variable name is formatted somehow.
I tried escaping the dollar sign with single or double backslashes, I also tried enclosing the dollar sign in single and double brackets, but the dollar sign still gets dropped in Anki.
I can go to Anki and reformat the variable name and add the dollar sign manually, but this is a less than ideal workaround.

Anybody knows of another workaround?
