This repository contains the Open Water Foundation (OWF) dataset files for Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) district boundaries, for districts types that are related to water.
This repository contains the workflow to create the GeoJSON files, and the resulting output.
The dataset files are also published on
data.openwaterfoundation.org
and are used in data analyses and web applications.
Currently the dataset is published aslatest version but in the future
historical snapshots may be published with timestamps.

The files in the data folder can be used directly by GIS and web mapping applications.
However, it is recommended to use the files served from the Colorado DOLA District Boundaries dataset links.
