Instructions:

  1. Add code the ThisOutlookSession.
  2. In Outlook options, check the "Open replies and forwards in a new window" checkbox. See support.office.com - Article: Reply to or forward an email message, FAQ: Can I have all replies and forwards open in a new window?
  3. Intended use: add the string "<attachment list>" to user's Outlook e-mail signatures
  4. Alternate use: manually put the string "<attachment list>" in an e-mail
  5. When e-mail is sent, the first occurrence of the string "<attachment list>" is replaced. It is replaced by a list of e-mail attachments -or- it is replaced by nothing, if no attachments are present.
  6. To use the Reply versions of these macros from a folder one must first select (highlight) the e-mail in the folder with a left click or keyboard, then, in a separate mouse click, use reply from the ribbon or reply from e-mail. Otherwise, use reply or forward buttons from the e-mail window.

*Does not work with OLE objects

*Ignores file attachments that are in image elements in the message body. (or tries too)

*Added Reply and Reply All versions of the macros. These record the names of the attachments from the e-mail from which the current e-mail was created via a Reply ro Replay all event.
