Squashed and merged edition!

This POI is an old Grayson-funded mining operation that found itself in hot water when they discovered they had built atop a spider nest. Now the facility's in chaos, and it doesn't help that its former occupants ordered their drones to contain the problem however possible before they all expired...

Main features

  • Many rooms are blocked off by rubble, with plenty of tools for players to carve their own paths... so long as they're careful where they're drilling.
  • Two hostile factions, spiders and hostile drones. With some clever manipulation of the terrain, the two can even be made to do some of the fighting themselves.
  • Several anomaly spawn points, to make going here actually lucrative. Guns, ammo, and tools remain in the clutches of their former owners or piled in former strongpoints that are now dens of the enemy, and plenty of heaps of scrap wait for the clever scavenger to exploit.

    reduce overall amount of fixed spawns to take advantage of leashing behavior. a few are left for flavor and generally providing challenge around key points

    re-reinforce the armory. holy shit they can get through blast doors

    clutter the medbay a little more, looks a bit more lived in

    touched up the exterior, added some lights

    Adds a 'refinery' area to the northeast area, both a fitting setpiece and a way to make the 'nest' that was there before look a little more professional.

    added a few meson spawns outside as signposting that a lot of this POI is hidden behind rock.

    reseed anomaly spawns, so each 'major area' has at least one

    reconfigure the spider tunnels a little more to prevent spider cascades and the whole dungeon piling into the first hall all at once

    a little more loot to the armory but beefed up security: a determined explorer can still get in through Security, but I really don't want the spider nest there going too far

    I think I roughly have balance to where I want it, to present multiple enemy points of approach while not totally overwhelming the player. might need ONE more test just for sureity

    too much to summarize exactly:
    -moved around a lot of the loot
    -spruced up some areas
    -edited the spider tunnels a bit to hopefully allow invader a chance of sealing up holes without engaging all of the nests. it's still a *little* bit of a fool's errand, but hey, you can try
    -expanded the exterior, added more of a mining site. it's perhaps not 100% realistic they'd be mining portions of their base... but also capitalism consumes itself, you dig?

    it begins
totally gone from the left wing and one is removed from the right. left wing has ample pressure from two mechs (probably), and drones are nasty in their own right even without considering an advancing mech

Not sure how to resolve 'active map edges' - which was occurring with another PR of mine too.

That's a flake in CI - basically there's a chance for cave generation to make caves next to the railroading (Planetary wall turfs that maintain the weather-based atmosphere), and when such caves occur, their air mix is different than the railroading so it's considered an active edge.
