Bugfix release

Fixed extra length issues with barplots, dotplots and linemaps. Code was missing a line.strip(). Issue created visual artefacts on barplots (longer frames).

Code cleanup:

Added --version option for all scripts.
Minor code cleanup / standardisation across scripts
