Changes

  • You no longer need to select the tab shape for the style to work. This is now an optional feature. You may need to re-select the tab shape again.
  • The style has been heavily reworked. Floating tabs no longer use SVG and almost completely follow the default styles. This should reduce the number of potential problems in the future. AMO themes are now fully compatible with these options without any conventions.
  • Floating tabs now support tab grouping. Separators do not work very correctly with this yet. This will be fixed in future versions.
  • Attached tabs have been reworked. They almost completely repeat the style as intended by Mozilla. This should improve compatibility with themes from AMO. Some side effects have been fixed. Tab effects have also been changed for compatibility with the new layout.
  • The option to reduce context menus has been removed. It is incompatible with icons and can be easily replaced by enabling compact mode in the browser.
  • The option to enable the active tab indicator has been removed. Now that the style is compatible with AMO themes and system effects, this indicator is no longer needed. And there is nowhere to place it because of other indicators.
  • For Linux, the media panel is no longer displayed in tabs. This will prevent text from being cut off due to insufficient vertical space.
  • Fixed many other minor issues.

Fan service

I decided to make the releases a little more unusual. Starting this year, I will post the name of one anime that I think might be interesting. For those who understand Russian, I will leave a link. Just follow it and watch. Everyone else will have to independently search for this anime with a translation into your native language. If you get bored or just have nothing to do, watch it. Maybe it will improve your mood. And follow the age restrictions.

Changes

  • The tab counter is now displayed instead of the icon. This should fix tab breaks that occurred in some cases.
  • The bottom tab placement option has been fixed, with some changes.
  • The One Line option has been fixed, with some design changes.
  • Minor bugs in the browser toolbar transparency options have been fixed.
  • The incorrect height of the tab bar has been fixed.
  • Added support for transparency on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Various additional minor fixes have been made.

This is the last release planned for this year. Happy New Year to everyone in advance.

Changes

  • Tabs attached to the toolbar in One Line mode now occupy a minimum of vertical screen space. When using this mode with compact mode, the browser bar takes up only 32px. Floating tabs remain unchanged.
  • Since transparency on Linux and MacOS works out of the box (almost), the ability to control the transparency of the browser toolbar has been returned.

Installation and available options

This version of the style will be updated only to fix bugs. No new features will be added.
