Hi, @Luisenden ! I moved the installation issues fix to a separate PR #153 . A new version of the library that now installs easily is registered.

Could you proceed with stripping down this PR to just the new protocol you are implementing with Guus and Kenneth? You can do that either by rebasing and making fixes here, or maybe it would be easier to just start a new branch from the most recent master and manually cherry pick the changes you want. And related to this, could you make sure you are making a new protocol runner instead of modifying SimpleSwitchDiscreteProt?
