"Round 1(Technical)
- Tell me something about yourself!
- Describe your projects! ( I had two projects, one on Image classification and one on data analytics)
- What is a ConvNet? How does it work?
- What is the difference between DNN and CNN?
- What is an array of pointer? Where can it be used? Explain!
- What is the use of a static variable?
- What are the different kinds of buses in a CPU?
- Write a structure of a linked list and add a method to add elements to the linked list in a sorted manner.
- Explain all the different layers of the OSI model. What are the different protocols used in these layers and explain them.
- What is the difference between Transport and Network layer?
- Do you have any questions for me? ( I asked her what was her role in Qualcomm and then I asked her whether the teams working in a project were from different fields( i.e hardware or software) or not).
Round 2:(Technical)
- How was your first round?
- What is a function pointer?
- Write a function to reverse a string in C. :')
- Explain runtime and compile time polymorphism and a few questions on output regarding the same.
- What happens when a process is preempted from the CPU?
- What is a mutex?
- What is an abstract class? When is it used?
- What is the size of a void pointer?
Round 3:(HR)
- How did your first two rounds go?
- Give me a brief description about yourself.
- Do you have any plans for higher studies?
- The previous interviewers told me that you have a strong coding base and a good knowledge of Machine learning. Now let me tell you that we have no openings for the AI team in Qualcomm as of now and we may have to shift you to some other technical field. Is this okay with you? ( I then asked her what are the different domains I could be working in? She gave me all the domains of technical work done in Qualcomm India. I then told her these were really interesting technologies and I am more than willing to work in these fields.)
She then told me that she had a great conversation and that she would also intimate the results to the college.
