ECE students were asked questions related to their subject only. And CSE students were asked questions related to CSE subjects only.

Students were shortlisted for personal interview round based on CGPA.

Personal Interview:

All the questions were from core electronics and communication (from 3rd semester to 7th semester)

Draw and explain the series and parallel resonant circuits in terms of impedance

Why is bipolar junction transistor termed bipolar?

Explain the terms "holding time and setting time" with reference to a flip flop (asked the timing diagrams)

Draw the common collector configuration. What is it's other name and why is it called so?

What is the voltage and current gain of emitter follower configuration?

What is unit gain amplifier? Explain it's working

What is a buffer and why is it used?

What is modulation? What are the types of Amplitude Modulation?

What modulation is used in TV signals? (Especially video signals)

What is characteristic impedance? Is it length dependent? Justify according to the definition

What is wavelength and group velocity?

What is the significance of beta in transmission lines?

What are the two types of computer architecture? What is the difference between them and give example for each.
