Column Formula

So I know next to nothing about java script. I come from mostly vb.net and some c# and I started learning obsidian yesterday which seems to be largely java which I know very little about. In the land of excel and visual basic setting a combo box to have the options of one column would be trivial to do. However in java script I have no idea where to begin. I want to use the File column as the source of data for a column.

Column Ingredient_1 is of type select and I want to use a formula to populate the list with The contents of the File column. How do I do this?
