A feature that would feel a continuation of AltSnap is the ability to put any window as an icon to the systray.
I think it was RBTray that allowed that by right clicking the minimize button, seems like a simple solution, or maybe add it to the Mouse actions.
One thing to take into account would be if AltSnap crashes, the minimized windows should either popup immediately or the systray icons be an independant process (and what if it crashes then?).
Some softwares that does it, but it feels redundant with AltSnap to have them:
