This series has use in earlier Nintendo titles such as Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Pikmin 2
There's a issue where images are missing the file type extension and appear as a blank (file) within the MAC folders, add .pict at the end of the filename to convert back. After doing so the resolution will be 3072x32 which will make it appear broken. You will now need to open the image in the program ImageMagick to succesfully view it and save it again at full 3072×2048 resolution.
