How to Achieve 90s Render look in Blender 2.79
You can achieve the same look as seen in the SM64 renders by using Blender Render found inside Blender 2.79 and releases from before. Sadly with the release of Blender 2.8 Blender Render was replaced with Eevee rendering which does not achieve the same look but can achieve something similar with the right settings. Cycles does not achieve the look either but can be found in nearly all Blender releases.
Maya and 3ds Max may still support this look as well but nobody writing here has tried it yet
This is a basic dirty rundown until I come back and clean it up.
In Blender Render
Do not use ambient occlusion Don't use soft shadows
