I think I understand your idea but to clarify do you mean something like Sonic 2 could have a Speedrun split for Sonic or Tails based on this data and then have a single leaderboard? Would the idea be to show filtered views of the leaderboard for any character, Sonic only or Tails only then? Sounds like a nice idea for reducing clutter and giving nice overall data on which characters are best overall while still allowing individual character filtering if that is the idea |

I think is a fantastic idea and offers some great opportunities. I can see this being very popular in racing game leaderboards to note which vehicle was used, high scores in games with different characters, etc. Lots of potential value added use cases exist. |

I recall I may have seen a suggestion similar to this before, but I can't seem to find it now. Also, this discussion relates to rcheevos as well, but the rcheevos repository doesn't appear to have a Discussions section, so I decided to post here instead.
