Hi, @tinkeringtuck I don't plan to integrate with HA (but I do use HA for home automation) this was “supposed” to be a simple synchronizer for any computer considering such tiny things as raspberry pi 0W. My programming knowledge is limited, but I am looking at various projects in the direction of new integrations > Xiaomi S400 e.g. BR, |

Are you familiar with the Home Assistant project? https://github.com/home-assistant
Have you considered, or would you consider, creating a home assistant integration for this project? This would allow users to utilize your project via their existing home assistant server/hardware and not needing additional hardware to run your project.
I had the idea today because I currently have hardware (raspberry pi) running this project but I have separate hardware for my home assistant server? It would be great to combine hardware. Thinking about it, it seems that the type of things people have integrations for in home assistant are very similar to what this project is doing. Having the home assistant server do the communication with the scale and garmin seems like a very reasonable thing to do, ruling out the need for separate hardware just for this project.
I am not assuming all users of this project have or want to use home assistant, but it would be very convenient for those who do. I have not contributed to home assistant before, but would be willing to offer some support, but I am not sure where to start, if it's feasible, or if you want to head that direction with this project.
P.S. Another link that may be useful is to HACS, which is the community story for Home Assistant.
